Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable professional looking for your next challenge? TwoScots are currently partnering with a leading company in the building services industry. They are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join their dynamic finance team.

Position: Accounts Receivable Officer
Location: Port Melbourne
Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent

Salary: up to $80k + super

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and take appropriate action.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues.
  • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and activities.
  • Maintain accurate and organised records of all transactions.
  • Communicate confidently with key internal and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an accounts receivable role, preferably within the building services or related industry.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
