The Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will support the end to end processing of a medium sized payroll using Chris21. This hands on role is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running, enjoys problem-solving, and is confident navigating a busy payroll cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing
- Interpreting Awards, EBAs and varied employee conditions
- Processing new starters, terminations
- Managing leave, overtime, allowances and deductions
- Handling payroll queries and providing accurate advice
- Assisting with superannuation, PAYG, STP and payroll tax compliance
- Supporting reconciliations and reporting as required
Skills & Experience
- Strong Chris21 experience is essential
- Proven experience in end to end payroll processing
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service
- Proven ability to develop effective partnerships to proactively find solutions and efficiencies in processes
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and develop workplans to achieve deadlines
- Ability to work well within a team environment
