Brother Baba Budan
359 Little Bourke Street, Melbourne, 3000
Being an office full of coffee lovers, come 9am we are never without our morning flat whites, and long have we hunted for the best of the CBD’s offering of roasted goodness. So you can imagine our delight when we stumbled across Little Bourke Street café, Brother Baba Budan.
Named after a 17th century Islamic scholar, who is credited with smuggling coffee beans out of Arabia back to India, where coffee drinking boomed and became a global phenomenon, this small and cosy café is a CBD gem. Friendly staff, great service and to die for coffee makes this a winner for us but we’d even recommend you go there for the unusual ceiling alone.
Melbourne Music Week
13 – 20 November 2015
The TwoScots team, as you can imagine, has drastically differing music tastes but we think there is something for everyone at Melbourne Music Week. It’s our favourite time of year with more than 100 events over eight days. Cherry picking the best of the city’s vibrant music scene and acts from further afield, it is any music lover’s paradise. Expect a diverse selection of genres from dirty rock to funk, soul, techno, dance, pop and minimal. We’re most looking forward to checking out the completely transformed music hub at the former Royal Women’s Hospital!

The Everleigh’s Bottled Cocktails
Voted one of the world’s best bars, The Everleigh, is the jewel in the Melbourne bar scene’s crown. A mouthwatering cocktail here will dazzle the senses and now you can enjoy your very own – hand-made by the bartenders at this Gertrude Street institution – in the comfort of your home.
For now, you can choose from four different varieties: a Manhattan; a classic Martini; an Old Fashioned, and a Negroni. Get yours at The Everleigh’s website or selected independent stores for around $15 each.
