AP Processing Analyst
Salary: $85K - $95K + Super
Hours: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Melbourne CBD - hybrid opportunities
ABOUT THE ROLE:
In this role, you will ensure the accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable transactions across multiple ERP systems, while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance standards.
Beyond day-to-day processing, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to streamline workflows and enhance system capabilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process invoices and credit notes in accordance with established policies and internal control requirements
- Accurately code invoices and perform purchase order matching in line with approved delegation limits
- Partner with internal teams and external suppliers to investigate and resolve queries in a timely manner
- Generate and maintain daily reporting with a strong focus on accuracy
- Assist with month-end close procedures, including reconciliations and reporting support
- Identify and support process improvement initiatives within the Accounts Payable function
- Utilise multiple ERP platforms and automation tools to enhance processing efficiency and accuracy

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Significant experience in Accounts Payable, ideally within Manufacturing, Retail, FMCG or a similar environment
- Strong ERP systems experience and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- High attention to detail and strong understanding of financial controls
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a changing environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
