In a nutshell: Glasgow to Melbourne was a big move but now I'm settled with my wife, three amazing sons and fantastic business I can't imagine ever going back. When founding TwoScots I was looking for a workplace which would become more than just that and would serve to shake up industries and help people thrive.
Ambitions: Keep growing and sharing our thriving brand and share it with as many people as possible.
In a nutshell: You'll know when you've hit on a subject I'm passionate about; my whole demeanor lights up and I can talk forever. TwoScots fits that category perfectly. Born from a desire to break the stigma of recruitment and offer a service which was a wee bit different, it's surpassed my expectations and I'm proud to have created a business that feels more like an extended family.
Ambitions: To continue to grow and share the TwoScots brand with my team and really influence the recruitment industry.
In a nutshell: As TwoScots first employee, I'm certainly part of the funiture. Whilst I'm currently on leave with my first beautiful baby, Lenny, I'll be back soon to work alongside you and crack the champagne on a Friday!
Ambitions: To continue to grow the TwoScots team, it's more than just my workplace after ten amazing years.
In a nutshell: As a mum to two beautiful children and an Associate Director at TwoScots, I'm certainly no stranger to organising an unruly herd! I'm passionate about coaching and developing people, both personally and professionally, as well as sampling the best brunches and walks Melbourne has to offer.
Ambitions: To translate the thriving TwoScots brand into our South East office, there's so much more potential for our business in Melbourne and I want to deliver it!
In a nutshell: Finance Manager, Operations Manager, Soccer Mom and Game Show host; I wear a lot of hats in the TwoScots office. I run our entire back office, making sure the entire team are happy and can thrive, not to mention my work on organising all The Bachelor related celebrations. Outside of work you'll find me spa-ing and shopping with a glass of bubbles close to hand.
Ambitions: To continue to grow and support our amazing team and lead the mighty TwoScots Wildcats to victory with a gourmet barbeque!
In a nutshell: Why did I move from Kildare to Melbourne? Obviously, the possibilities that come with change and growth plus my burning desire to be tanned all year round. I'm still coming to terms with the fact that Guinness doesn't taste the same but the people and lifestyle more than make up for it.
Ambitions: I'm really enjoying the challenge of establishing an important role in the NDIS recruitment space. I've never seen any other scheme which contributes in the same way and I'm proud to be part of it.
In a nutshell: What's the best way to scare your parents? Call them from your holiday in Thailand to say you're not coming home. Well, that was me! Since moving from windy Lancashire to Melbourne, via four months in Asia, I've been working with innovative brands and striving to shake up the industries they exist in.
Ambitions: To make more waves for TwoScots whilst continuing to learn. I'd also love to write a best selling novel and be awarded the Booker Prize - no point in dreaming small!
In a nutshell: I'm an adventurous soul. Whether I'm watching the Northern Lights in Sweden or camping on Lady Musgrave Island I'm always seeking the best experience possible. Recruitment allows me to share that desire for the perfect partnership of situation and person and that's what really drew me in - that and my competitive nature!
Ambitions: I want to continue to develop my ability to intuitively match candidate and client. There's nothing more satisfying than finding the ideal solution for people who have put their trust in you.
In a nutshell: My top achievements include becoming fluent in Spanish, saving a person's life and eating a kilo burger and chips in just six minutes. My pivot from teaching took me from Miss Russell to Izzy from TwoScots and I believe my teaching experience affords an insight to individuals and how they thrive - perfect for a recruiter!
Ambitions: To create a recruitment approach which is holistic and value driven. Really, I want to help as many people as possible whilst honing my Yorkshire pudding recipe.
In a nutshell: Full time Recruitment Consultant, part time Table Tennis Champion; I'm the undefeated TwoScots singles and doubles Grand Slam winner. My competitive streak extends beyond the table to my career progression and lifelong love of Richmond Football Club - it's why I was recommended a job in recruitment.
Ambitions: To continue to channel my ambitions into my work and take on more clients and candidates. I'm also excited to develop my career into a managerial position.
In a nutshell: Culture and experience drive both my personal and professional decisions. Whether that's roaming the undiscovered north of Vietnam, honing my ramen recipe in Tokyo or joining TwoScots and moving to Melbourne from the other side of the world. I'm always looking to experience something different or meet someone new.
Ambitions: To further develop my professional relationships and share my experiences and knowledge with as many people as possible!
In a nutshell: So it turns out Summer Bay doesn't actually exist, but that hasn't quite tainted my Australian experience having moved from Ireland in 2019. I've always loved all things sport, music and animals so Melbourne is a dream as is my leadership role where I can work across and influence multiple disciplines.
Ambitions: To own three dogs, beat James in table tennis and watch Essendon win the Grand Final. Oh, also to continue to grow and nurture my teams, I'm in for the long haul.
In a nutshell: I'm driven by challenge and collaboration; it's why I love TwoScots. The culture and the relationships here enable me to lead my team, succeed and continue to visit my beloved Yarra Valley wineries at regular intervals! Coming from small town Northern Ireland, I love to take in every experience on offer so you'll find me riverside with a glass of fizz or in Sydney visiting friends.
Ambitions: Be able to support my team to thrive in a safe way all whilst creating long-term relationships in the Melbourne market.
In a nutshell: Part time puzzler, full time thrill seeker. When I'm not in the midst of a jigsaw or exploring Melbourne's famous gastronomy scene you'll find me paragliding over the dead sea or bungeeing into dodgy pools in Thailand. Recruitment found me via a similar baptism of fire when I ran internal staffing within the retail industry and I've never looked back.
Ambitions: To continue to progress to leadership within TwoScots and eventually run my own division - I thrive on running the show!
In a nutshell: At TwoScots I'm known as the go-to guru. Whether you're after a decent soccer player, a technology whiz or even a T-Shirt designer - I can cover you! I'm a bit of a unicorn being both extremely process driven whilst possessing a strong creative flair. Outside work you'll find me on the futsal court or in the midst of nature...eating a whole pizza to myself.
Ambitions: To keep learning whilst taking on more responsibility and diverse projects, I really thrive on variety and adventure.
In a nutshell: Most of my decisions have stemmed from social interactions; from when my professors and mentors suggested a career in recruitment would suit my chatty tendencies to when a friend (now colleague) at a party told me about an opportunity at TwoScots. It's why I love to work pairing candidates and jobs, I feel like I'm passing on the good advice.
Ambitions: Manage a TwoScots team; how quickly I get there is up to me and my work ethic.
In a nutshell: In order, my two greatest loves are my puppy, Cosmo, and my husband. Cosmo and I met in Melbourne in January 2020 shortly after moving here from London where I met my Australian husband - long way to go to meet someone from home! I got into recruitment in London where the agency I interviewed as a candidate for decided to employ me themselves.
Ambitions: To grow my profile in the Melbourne market and continue to deliver a fantastic service to all clients and candidates.
In a nutshell: I'm the epitome of a people person. I thrive in a social setting where I can share opportunities and enrich experiences, it's why I got into recruitment in the first place. I moved to Melbourne from London seeking beachside adventures and the challenge of agency recruitment after starting my career on the internal side.
Ambitions: To grow my division to the level in which I create new opportunities for others and myself - Melbourne and TwoScots are both my new home!
