ABOUT THE ROLE

TwoScots is excited to be recruiting an experienced and detail-focused Administrative Assistant to support a high-performing Reportable Conduct team within the education sector.

This part-time role (3 days per week) will run for an initial 5-week temporary contract and will play a key part in ensuring compliance and record-keeping processes are managed to the highest standard. You'll be the triage point for incoming enquiries, support high-level administrative tasks, and help manage sensitive information with accuracy and discretion.

The position is based in East Melbourne, with flexible hybrid working arrangements and an immediate start.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the first point of contact for the Reportable Conduct team, managing a range of stakeholder enquiries

  • Distribute key reports and documents in a timely and accurate manner

  • Maintain records (digital and physical), process incoming/outgoing mail, and manage data entry

  • Ensure documentation is stored and retrieved in accordance with privacy and compliance standards

  • Coordinate meetings and provide general administrative support to the team

  • Assist with the continuous improvement of administrative processes and procedures

  • Complete ad hoc administrative tasks as required


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in high-level administration, ideally within legal, compliance or governance teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with a professional and confidential approach

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • High level of competence in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

  • Ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at various levels

  • Proactive, flexible, and able to manage competing priorities autonomously


QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualification in Business Administration or related field (desirable)

  • Previous experience in compliance, legal admin or education sector highly regarded

  • Strong commitment to upholding child safety, privacy, and organisational values
