About the Role:
Reporting to the Credit Manager, this is a hands-on leadership role overseeing a large Accounts Receivable team. You will be responsible for driving performance, ensuring clear accountability across the team, and maintaining strong operational control of daily AR functions.
This role requires a proactive leader who can balance people management with operational delivery, while continuously improving processes and supporting broader credit team initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, mentor and develop a large team of AR professionals
* Drive a high-performance culture with clear accountability and team engagement
* Monitor daily AR transactions and ensure accuracy and efficiency
* Conduct regular team catch-ups and performance reviews
* Manage workflow planning and optimise team productivity
* Handle performance management, coaching and uplift initiatives
* Cross-train team members across all AR and Credit functions to build capability and resilience
* Work closely with the other Credit Team Leaders
You will have:
* Proven experience leading an AR team within a large organisation
* Strong leadership capability with a focus on coaching and team development
* Hands-on experience managing end-to-end AR processes
* Demonstrated ability in performance management and team uplift
* Strong workflow planning and operational management skills
* Experience working in high-volume environments (AR/Credit)
* Strong Pronto skills
* Advanced Excel skills and strong overall technical proficiency
