ABOUT THE COMPANY

TwoScots are partnering with a finance consultancy business based in Melbourne's inner city suburbs.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with strong customer service skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. In this role, they will play a key part in building strong client relationships from the outset, guiding clients through the onboarding process and ensuring all steps are completed for a smooth and successful partnership.

You'll either exercise your Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) or present submissions to the relevant DLA holder, ensuring that credit risk is managed to the highest standards and within the Credit Risk policy.

Role:

The duties include but are not limited to:

  • Guide new clients through the onboarding process, explain services and expectations, collect required documentation, prepare legal documents, and provide timely support and communication.
  • Assess credit applications in line with company policies, exercising Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) where applicable, or preparing and presenting submissions to the appropriate DLA holder to ensure credit risk is thoroughly evaluated and managed to the highest standards.
  • Maintain regular telephone and written contact with clients to ensure a personal, responsive, and professional onboarding experience.
  • Accurately input and update client information, ensuring compliance and regulatory documentation is completed and maintained correctly.
  • Foster strong client relationships by delivering exceptional service, identifying issues early, and serving as the primary point of contact during onboarding.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Payroll teams to ensure client needs are met, and escalate issues to appropriate departments as needed.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the onboarding process and provide feedback and suggestions for continual improvement.
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date client records to ensure accessibility, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards.

Skills + Experience

  • Two years experience within a credit role with key stakeholder management
  • You will be personable and looking to achieve the best possible outcome when it comes to both clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong MS Office and general systems proficiency essential
