About the opportunity
As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in shaping people strategies and driving meaningful business outcomes. Reporting to the Head of HR, this role provides commercially focused HR advice that strengthens leadership capability and enhances the employee experience. This is a broad, hands-on opportunity covering workforce planning, employee relations, organisational change, culture and Work Health & Safety.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to leaders, aligning people strategies with commercial and business objectives.
- Support workforce planning, talent strategy, succession planning and capability development.
- Coach leaders through performance, engagement, organisational change and complex people challenges.
- Lead employee relations matters, investigations and performance management with confidence and sound commercial judgement.
- Lead and contribute to HR projects, organisational change initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development to support recruitment, capability and leadership initiatives.
About you
- Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong employee relations experience, with confidence managing complex matters, investigations and performance issues.
- Sound understanding of Work Health & Safety, workers compensation, injury management and risk management.
- Excellent coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline are preferred.
