About the Role
Reporting into an experienced and approachable Payroll Manager, this role will see you working alongside a team of skilled professionals to deliver timely and accurate payroll services. This contract is ideal for a Payroll Officer with end-to-end payroll experience and a strong focus on detail and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Full function, end-to-end payroll processing
- Calculation and processing of leave entitlements including long service and parental leave
- Interpreting multiple EBAs and Awards
- Handling employee queries and managing the payroll inbox
- Processing terminations, redundancies, and adjustments
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance in all payroll-related matters
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll
- Proficiency using Chris21 is essential
- Knowledge of complex EBAs and Awards interpretation
- Previous experience in a high-volume or complex payroll environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
