Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll for Australia and New Zealand via an outsourced provider.
  • Partner with Finance on reporting, accruals, GL reconciliations, and payroll cost analysis.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financials including STP, super, and tax compliance.
  • Identify and implement improvements to processes and reporting flows.
  • Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with legislation.
  • Be the go-to contact for payroll queries and internal support.

Skills & Experience:

  • Solid experience with AU/NZ payroll, ideally someone who has run an end-to-end payroll function
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, tax, and super.
  • Exposure to accounting, finance reporting, or currently studying towards a qualification.
  • A hands-on, proactive mindset - willing to pitch in and make things better.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working autonomously.
