The Overview
Our client is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support the accurate processing, reconciliation, and compliance of employee Superannuation contributions across a large workforce.
Working closely with Payroll and HR, this role will focus on managing Superannuation payments, resolving discrepancies with funds, maintaining employee data, and ensuring compliance with Australian Superannuation legislation. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with payroll data, reconciliation, and process improvement.
What You'll Do
- Manage and reconcile Superannuation contributions across payroll cycles
- Submit contributions through clearing houses within the required timeframes
- Maintain accurate employee Super details in payroll and HR systems
- Investigate and resolve contribution discrepancies with funds
- Prepare Superannuation reporting and support compliance requirements
- Respond to employee queries regarding contributions and fund selection
- Support payroll process improvements and maintain strong data integrity
What They're Looking For
- 3-4+ years' payroll experience with strong exposure to Superannuation
- Understanding of Same Day Super
- Knowledge of Australian Superannuation legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience with payroll systems and Super clearing houses is desirable (e.g. SuperStream)
- Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
- Intermediate Excel skills and ability to manage payroll data
- Strong communication and problem-solving capability
