ABOUT THE COMPANY:

TwoScots are partnering with a leading healthcare organisation to recruit an experienced Payroll Compliance Analyst. Reporting to a highly skilled Payroll Governance Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a complex, multi-site environment and contribute to the integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement of payroll operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Conduct compliance testing and transactional audits across payroll and time & attendance systems
• Investigate payroll discrepancies and undertake root cause analysis
• Interpret and monitor changes across the Fair Work Act, EBAs, Modern Awards and superannuation legislation
• Analyse large payroll data sets to identify anomalies and ensure data integrity
• Support internal and external audits, including preparation of data and evidence
• Maintain payroll compliance controls and contribute to ongoing process improvements
• Prepare compliance reporting and respond to escalated payroll compliance queries

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience within payroll compliance, governance, audit or a similar payroll-focused role.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, EBAs and Modern Awards
• Experience working within a large, high-volume and complex payroll environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate payroll discrepancies and identify risk.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Healthcare or another highly regulated industry background would be advantageous.
