About the Role
Working closely with experienced Payroll Managers and within collaborative payroll teams, these opportunities suit individuals who are passionate about payroll, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are looking to hit the ground running in full function payroll positions.
Duties:
* Processing end-to-end payroll for weekly, fortnightly or monthly cycles
* Managing various leave types including long service, maternity, and personal leave
* Interpreting complex EBAs and modern awards
* High-volume payroll processing and data entry
* Utilising various payroll systems (Chris21, Preceda, SAP, ADP, Micropay etc.)
* Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders
* Performing superannuation and taxation calculations
* Processing terminations and redundancies
* Responding to and resolving payroll queries in a timely manner
Skills and Experience
* Demonstrated full function payroll experience
* Ability to manage deadlines and multitask across competing priorities
* Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication
* Prior experience in temp/contract roles highly regarded
* Knowledge of relevant payroll systems - Chris21 experience highly desirable
* Previous experience interpreting EBAs, Awards and NES requirements
