About the Company:
We are pleased to be partnering with one of Melbourne's largest healthcare organisations to recruit a skilled Payroll Officer. This organisation currently has multiple full-time opportunities available within a large, established payroll team.

You will work under the guidance of a highly experienced and approachable Payroll Manager, receiving strong mentorship and ongoing support, with excellent opportunities to further develop your skills in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

About the Role:

  • Process end-to-end payroll in line with relevant legislation and company policies
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including employee details, leave balances, and pay adjustments
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of salaries, superannuation, and other entitlements
  • Interpret and apply relevant awards, enterprise agreements, and workplace legislation
  • Assist with payroll reconciliations, reporting, and audits as required
  • Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous payroll experience in a similar end-to-end role is essential
  • Exposure to large payroll systems - SAP preferred but not essential
  • Experience with award interpretation is required
  • In-depth understanding of payroll legislation and processes
  • Exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines independently
