About the Company:

We are delighted to be partnering with one of Australia's leading healthcare organisations on providing them with an excellent Payroll Officer to join their team. This is a company who really value their staff and uphold the highest standards and excellence. Reporting through to a very highly experienced and supportive payroll manager, this role will give you the opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative environment.

About the Role:

  • Process end-to-end payroll for in line with relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including employee details, leave balances, and pay adjustments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of salaries, superannuation, and other entitlements.
  • Interpret and apply relevant awards, enterprise agreements, and workplace legislation.
  • Assist with payroll reconciliations, reporting, and audits as required.
  • Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous payroll experience in a similar end to end role is essential.
  • Exposure to large payroll systems.
  • Experience with award interpretation is required
  • An in depth understanding of payroll legislation and processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to deal with high pressure and work to tight deadlines whilst working independently.
