About the Role

As a Payroll Officer, you'll be part of a large, collaborative payroll team responsible for the accurate and timely processing of end-to-end payroll. You'll ensure compliance across all payroll functions while supporting internal stakeholders and contributing to process improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing high-volume, end-to-end payroll cycles
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation, awards, and company policies
  • Responding to employee and stakeholder payroll queries
  • Liaising with external providers and auditors when required
  • Supporting payroll projects and system improvements

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 4+ years' experience in end-to-end payroll within a large, high-volume environment
  • Strong systems experience with large payroll systems highly desirable
  • Solid understanding of superannuation, tax, and leave calculations
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management ability
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
