About the Role
This role is best suited for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to payroll. This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your skills within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Duties:
* Assist with end-to-end payroll processing in a timely and accurate manner
* Support payroll reporting and data analysis
* Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity
* Identify and assist with process improvements within the payroll function
* Process leave calculations, including long service, parental and other leave types
* Calculate and process superannuation and payroll tax requirements
* Manage terminations and redundancies, including final pay calculations
* Interpret Awards and EBA's to ensure accurate payroll processing
* Manage payroll queries and maintain the payroll inbox
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a Payroll Officer or similar role
* Exposure to ANZ or Global payroll (highly regarded)
* Experience working within an end-to-end or high-volume payroll environment
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams
* Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
* Understanding of Awards and EBA's
* Exposure to payroll systems and strong attention to detail
