About the Role:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will lead a team of payroll officers responsible for end‑to‑end payroll processing:
- Oversee the accurate, on‑time processing of high‑volume fortnightly payrolls
- Manage day‑to‑day team workflow and ensure deadlines are consistently met
- Handle escalated payroll queries, providing timely and accurate resolution
- Process end‑to‑end payroll tasks including new starters, terminations, deductions, adjustments, superannuation and award‑based changes
- Support the Payroll Manager with reconciliation, EOFY processes and system improvements
About you:
- Experience in high-volume payroll
- Strong leadership, coaching or mentoring capabilities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Solid understanding of payroll legislation, awards and compliance
