About the Role
Reporting to a Payroll Manager or Team Leader, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll services while supporting BAU and project-based work. Your system skills will be highly regarded, and the ability to adapt quickly is key in this role.
Duties:
* Process end-to-end payroll on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis
* Interpret multiple EBAs and Awards
* Process new starters, terminations, and adjustments
* Manage payroll queries and provide exceptional internal support
* Ensure compliance with superannuation, payroll tax, and legislative obligations
* Assist with system upgrades or process improvements as needed
* Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports as required
Skills and Experience
* Prior experience in a full-function payroll role
* Exposure to TechnologyOne, Dayforce, or Chris21 is highly regarded
* Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax and superannuation
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
* Team player who can also work autonomously when needed
