ABOUT THE ROLE

TwoScots are partnering with a prominent education provider who are seeking a skilled and strategic Project Manager to lead initiatives focused on school enrolment growth, community engagement, and long-term planning across their extensive school system. This role will see you managing complex projects from design to delivery, working closely with senior stakeholders and school leaders to bring impactful, system-wide change. This is a full-time opportunity, based in East Melbourne with hybrid working available.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Management: Lead the delivery of complex, multi-stream projects that support enrolment strategy, community engagement, and growth planning.

  • Strategic Planning: Work collaboratively with senior leaders to scope, design, and implement strategic initiatives aligned to organisational goals.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships across schools, central office teams, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.

  • Governance & Reporting: Establish project governance structures, manage project steering committees, and deliver clear, executive-level updates and reports.

  • Risk Management: Identify project risks and issues early, and develop effective mitigation strategies.

  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to refining and improving project management tools, systems, and frameworks across the organisation.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-site projects with multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills - especially at senior levels.

  • Analytical and strategic thinking - ability to design practical solutions to broad organisational challenges.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication - able to prepare compelling briefs and reports.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, and project tools like Monday.com.

  • Self-motivated with a collaborative, team-first mindset.


QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in project management, education, business, or similar.

  • A current and valid Victorian Driver's License and access to a vehicle.

  • Current Working with Children Check or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.

  • A clear National Criminal History Check (NCHC) is required on appointment.

  • An understanding of and commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
