Salary: Up to $75k + super
Hours: 12-month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Melbourne CBD (2 days working from home)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional with a focus on reconciliations. In this role, you'll be responsible for reconciling high-volume supplier accounts, investigating discrepancies, and liaising with both internal teams and external suppliers. Your ability to work through variances efficiently and accurately will be key to your success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reconcile supplier accounts to statements in a timely and accurate manner (experience with 50+ invoices per supplier preferred)

  • Investigate and resolve variances and discrepancies

  • Liaise regularly with suppliers to manage account queries and ensure prompt resolution

  • Escalate issues following internal procedures and timelines

  • Coordinate various tasks within the broader Accounts Payable team

  • Communicate effectively with other departments across the business

  • Ensure supplier queries are handled efficiently and professionally

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior experience in Accounts Payable, particularly with supplier reconciliations

  • Strong attention to detail and investigative mindset

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable working in high-volume, fast-paced environments

  • Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups preferred)
