TwoScots are partnering with a boutique Chartered Accounting firm based in North Melbourne to recruit a Senior Accountant. With a strong focus on providing personalised accounting, taxation and wealth management solutions, the firm works closely with individuals, families and private businesses to support their long-term financial goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Manage accounting and taxation requirements for a portfolio of individual, family and business clients

  • Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns and associated compliance obligations

  • Lead client meetings, providing practical advice and solutions to complex accounting and taxation matters

  • Assist clients with tax planning, structuring and broader wealth management considerations

  • Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to provide additional advisory support

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

  • CA or CPA qualified with demonstrated experience in public practice accounting

  • Strong technical accounting and Australian taxation knowledge

  • Confident communicator with the ability to independently manage client meetings and build trusted relationships

  • Proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills and a solutions-focused approach

  • Experience or knowledge of property-related taxation, including stamp duty and land tax, will be highly regarded
