THE ROLE
As Senior Financial Accountant, you'll lead the day-to-day financial operations of the business, support strategic planning and reporting, and help shape a scalable, best-practice finance function. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, your scope will grow alongside the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly financial reports and board packs
- Oversee general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Support and drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Ensure compliance with tax obligations (BAS, GST, FBT, payroll tax)
- Collaborate cross-functionally to provide financial insights and support operational decisions
- Assist in system and process improvements, including NetSuite optimisation
- Support external audit preparation and regulatory compliance
- Contribute to investor reporting and capital management activities
ABOUT YOU
- CA/CPA qualified
- 5+ years' experience in financial accounting roles
- Experience in fast-paced, multi-entity environments (hospitality, wellness, or retail ideal)
- Advanced Excel skills and exposure to ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Strong commercial acumen with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Excellent communicator with a collaborative and adaptable mindset
- Passionate about contributing to a purpose-led business
