About the Company:
We are delighted to be partnering with one of Australia's leading pharmaceutical organisations to provide them with an excellent Payroll Officer. This is an initial 6 month contract to assist the team with an ongoing project. Potential to extend for the right candidate.
This is a fully remote role, however you must be available to attend the office in Abbotsford occasionally.
About the Role:
- Process end-to-end payroll for in line with relevant legislation and company policies.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee details, leave balances, and pay adjustments.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of salaries, superannuation, and other entitlements.
- Interpret and apply relevant awards, enterprise agreements, and workplace legislation.
- Assist with payroll reconciliations, reporting, and audits as required.
- Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
Skills and Experience
- Previous payroll experience in a similar end to end role is essential.
- Exposure to large payroll systems. iChris, Chris21 or Workday is desired but not essential
- Experience with award interpretation is required
- An in depth understanding of payroll legislation and processes.
- Exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to deal with high pressure and work to tight deadlines whilst working independently.
