About the Role
Reporting into a highly experienced and supportive Payroll Manager, this role will see you take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing. You'll play a vital part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll services while contributing to wider team objectives.
Duties
- Process end-to-end payroll for Australia & New Zealand employees
- Calculate and manage various types of leave, including long service, maternity, and parental leave
- Handle high-volume payroll processing efficiently
- Maintain strong understanding of payroll systems
- Interpret and apply complex EBAs and awards
- Manage terminations and redundancies
- Deliver exceptional internal customer service and support
- Respond to payroll queries and maintain the payroll inbox
Skills and Experience
- Background in large, complex payroll environments
- Ability to manage full function payroll
- Experience with large payroll systems is a bonus, but not essential
- Strong knowledge of EBAs and awards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Team player with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
