About the roles
Working within established payroll teams, you will support the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services. Assignments vary and may include short-term cover or longer project based contracts, with immediate and upcoming start dates available.

Key responsibilities
-
End to end payroll processing on weekly, fortnightly, or monthly cycles
-
Interpretation of awards, EBAs, and employment contracts
-
Processing new starters, terminations, leave, and payroll adjustments
-
Managing payroll queries and providing support to employees and stakeholders
-
Ensuring compliance with Australian payroll legislation and statutory requirements
-
Assisting with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and audits

Supporting payroll teams during peak periods or staff leave
Skills and experience
-
Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or Senior Payroll Officer
- System experience across Dayforce, TechnologyOne, Chris21, or SAP
-
Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and compliance

Experience working in high-volume or complex payroll environments
-
Ability to step into a temporary role and add value quickly

High attention to detail with strong organisational skills

Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style
