About the Role
Working as part of an experienced payroll team, you will be responsible for managing end to end payroll across medium employee volumes. This role will suit someone who is confident working autonomously, has strong payroll knowledge and enjoys contributing to a positive team environment.
Duties
- Managing end-to-end payroll processing
- Processing new starters, terminations and employee changes
- Completing payroll adjustments, deductions and leave calculations
- Processing superannuation, PAYG and payroll tax
- Performing payroll reconciliations and reporting
- Responding to employee and stakeholder queries
- Interpreting relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Supporting month end and year end payroll activities
- Identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies
- Ensuring payroll is processed accurately and within required deadlines
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Strong end-to-end payroll experience
- Previous experience working with medium volume payrolls
- Sound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation
- Strong reconciliation and manual calculation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
