About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tax Accountant to join a well-established, Australian-based organisation operating within a highly regulated, corporate environment. This is a permanent role offering exposure to end-to-end corporate tax, strong governance frameworks, and collaboration with international stakeholders.

The role sits within a supportive, high-performing finance team and will suit a technically strong tax professional who enjoys compliance, regulatory engagement and continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in maintaining robust tax governance while supporting audits and evolving regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to a senior finance leader, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation and lodgement of income tax returns, FBT, withholding tax and ESL

  • Review of BAS, stamp duty and other indirect tax filings

  • Support transfer pricing documentation, Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) and BEPS Pillar 2 compliance

  • Assist with hybrid mismatch arrangements and international tax requirements

  • Maintain and enhance tax policies, frameworks and governance controls

  • Support internal and external tax audits, including regulatory reviews

  • Liaise with offshore stakeholders and group entities

  • Represent the business in industry forums and working groups

  • Ad hoc tax reporting and improvement initiatives as required

About You

You'll bring a strong technical foundation and the confidence to operate in a regulated, corporate setting:

  • Proven experience in corporate tax compliance and reporting

  • Solid knowledge of income tax, FBT, withholding tax, transfer pricing and indirect taxes

  • Exposure to international tax frameworks (BEPS / Pillar 2 highly regarded)

  • Experience supporting audits and maintaining strong governance frameworks

  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail

  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders

  • CA or CPA qualified (or working towards)
