About the Company:
We are partnering with a well-known and highly respected Not for Profit organisation seeking a Payroll Systems Test Analyst to support a major system implementation.
This role focuses on payroll system testing, data validation, and ensuring readiness for a UKG implementation, working closely with the Test Director on a large-scale transformation initiative.
About the Role:
- Execute payroll system testing across multiple phases (SIT, UAT, parallel runs)
- Develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios
- Validate payroll calculations including awards, entitlements, and LSL accruals
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution
- Perform data validation and reconciliation between legacy and new systems
- Support data migration testing for UKG
- Analyse payroll outputs to ensure compliance with business rules and requirements
- Contribute to test planning, test strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Test Analyst in system implementation or transformation projects
- Strong hands-on experience with UKG is essential
- Experience testing complex business systems
- Solid understanding of end-to-end testing methodologies (SIT, UAT, regression testing)
- Experience validating data, calculations, and system outputs
- Hands-on experience with system implementation and data migration testing
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and defects
- Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capability
- High attention to detail and a methodical, investigative approach
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams
