The Overview
We're partnering with a leading international manufacturing organisation to find an experienced Time & Attendance Systems Lead to join their People & Culture Systems team. This is a key role managing the Time & Attendance space across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring workforce management systems run seamlessly, rosters are accurate, and payroll teams are fully supported. You'll oversee system performance, partner with the T&A vendor, manage support tickets, and ensure configuration aligns with Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and NZ payroll legislation. Alongside this, you'll provide operational support to payroll when needed and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and best practice standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the Time & Attendance function across ANZ.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to team members within the T&A and systems space
- Administer, configure, and maintain the T&A system, ensuring pay rules, rosters, and accruals reflect EA and NZ legislative requirements.
- Work closely with the vendor to resolve tickets, manage upgrades, and implement system enhancements.
- Create and manage rosters for manufacturing sites, ensuring accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Maintain and update SOPs, workflows, and process documentation.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and Operations to ensure time data flows accurately through to payroll.
- Lead or support testing during system changes, upgrades, or new feature rollouts.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve system performance.
- Support the payroll team with pay run administration as needed (managed service model - not full end-to-end).
- Ensure compliance with EBAs, Awards, and both Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation.
What They're Looking For
- Proven experience in a Time & Attendance / Workforce Management Systems role (UKG/Kronos, EmpLive, Humanforce, Dayforce, Chris21, Preceda, etc.).
- Leadership experience within HR, Payroll, or Time & Attendance systems.
- Solid experience managing rosters, pay rules, and T&A configuration, in a manufacturing environment would be desirable
- Strong understanding of EBA and Award interpretation, ideally with NZ payroll exposure is essential.
- Experience working closely with vendors and supporting ticket resolution.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention todetail.
- Confident communicator with experience collaborating across HR, Payroll, and Operations.
- Highly proficient in Excel and comfortable working with data and reports.
