Accounts Officer (End-to-End)
Location: Dandenong South
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent, 2 days working from home
To begin with, the role will require you to travel to Clayton for the first month to be given initial training, after that the role will be based in Dandenong South.
About the Company
Our client is a growing and dynamic organisation currently undergoing an exciting phase of expansion. As part of this growth, the business is acquiring a new entity, creating an opportunity for a highly capable Accounts Payable & Receivable professional to take ownership of end-to-end finance operations for the newly integrated business unit.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the full-function Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes for the newly acquired business. This is a hands-on role requiring someone comfortable working autonomously and setting up and managing processes in a standalone environment.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end Accounts Payable processing, including invoice management, payment runs, and reconciliations
- End-to-end Accounts Receivable management, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Managing stakeholder relationships across internal departments and external vendors/customers
- Assisting with month-end close activities
- Identifying and implementing process improvements as the new business is integrated
- Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policies and procedures
About You
- Proven experience in end-to-end AP and AR functions
- Comfortable working in a standalone role or within newly established finance processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience
- Proactive, hands-on approach with a problem-solving mindset
Systems Experience
- Experience with MYOB AccountRight is highly regarded
- Exposure to large ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, NetSuite) will be beneficial
