About the Role:
Reporting to the Credit Manager, this is a hands-on leadership role overseeing a large Accounts Receivable team. You will be responsible for driving performance, ensuring clear accountability across the team, and maintaining strong operational control of daily AR functions.
This role requires a proactive leader who can balance people management with operational delivery, while continuously improving processes and supporting broader credit team initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a large team of AR professionals
- Drive a high-performance culture with clear accountability and team engagement
- Monitor daily AR transactions and ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Conduct regular team catch-ups and performance reviews
- Manage workflow planning and optimise team productivity
- Handle performance management, coaching and uplift initiatives
- Cross-train team members across all AR and Credit functions to build capability and resilience
- Work closely with the Credit Team Leaders
You will have:
- Proven experience leading an AR team within a large organisation
- Strong leadership capability with a focus on coaching and team development
- Hands-on experience managing end-to-end AR processes
- Demonstrated ability in performance management and team uplift
- Strong workflow planning and operational management skills
- Experience working in high-volume environments (AR/Credit)
- Advanced Excel skills, strong overall technical proficiency and have used large ERP systems
