About the role

Reporting to the Business Services Finance Manager, this Finance Manager position will lead the Victorian Business Services Finance team and oversee the delivery of accurate and timely financial information across the business.

You will directly manage a team of three, consisting of two Financial Accountants and one Business Support team member.

The role will act as an important link between financial accounting, FP&A and operational stakeholders while supporting the continued development of D365 and broader finance processes.

The successful candidate will be a confident and credible leader who can build trust, provide direction and lead a technically capable and ambitious team through change.

Duties

  • Lead, coach and develop the Victorian Business Services Finance team

  • Oversee month-end, financial reporting and balance sheet processes

  • Manage P&L, cash-flow, revenue and work-in-progress accounting

  • Partner with FP&A and operational leaders to support business decision-making

  • Strengthen financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards

  • Drive improvements across D365, finance systems, processes and reporting

Skills & Experience

  • CA, CPA or equivalent accounting qualification

  • Experience leading a financial accounting or reporting team

  • Strong technical accounting, month-end and financial reporting knowledge

  • Big Four or mid-tier accounting background strongly preferred

  • Proven ability to lead through systems, process or organisational change

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and people leadership skills
