Reporting to a highly skilled Payroll Governance Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a complex, multi-site environment, supporting critical workforce operations while driving system improvements that directly impact frontline services.
About the Role:
- Maintain and support payroll systems, configurations, and integrations
- Investigate and resolve payroll system issues and user queries
- Support payroll upgrades, testing, and system implementations
- Build and maintain payroll reporting and data analytics
- Ensure payroll processes align with compliance and legislative requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Assist with system documentation, training, and user support
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in payroll systems administration or payroll operations in a large and complex environment
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, awards, and compliance
- Experience working with large payroll systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Confident communicator with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills highly regarded
