Assistant Accountant

About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Assistant Accountant to join a high-performing Finance team.
This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career accounting professional looking to develop their technical skills and progress their finance career within a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare month-end journals, including accruals and depreciation
- Maintain the fixed asset register, including asset creation, additions, disposals, and depreciation calculations
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including fixed assets
- Assist with the preparation of monthly Capital Expenditure reporting
- Assist with intercompany reporting and maintenance of intercompany matrices
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes, systems, and controls
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 1-2 years' experience in a similar accounting role
- Currently pursuing, or intending to pursue, CPA or equivalent professional qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Sound practical knowledge of accounting systems
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proactive, motivated, and keen to learn
