The Opportunity

Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you'll play a key role in monitoring and managing credit risk across a diverse portfolio of clients. You'll gain exposure to financial analysis, portfolio monitoring, collections, legal documentation reviews and credit risk reporting, making this an excellent stepping stone for someone wanting to develop a long-term career in credit risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review financial statements and client information to assess credit risk.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, arrears and emerging risk trends.
  • Support funding limit reviews and credit recommendations.
  • Assist with collections activity and payment arrangement monitoring.
  • Prepare regular management reports and risk commentary.
  • Conduct legal and supporting document reviews to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Monitor credit insurance obligations and reporting requirements.
  • Review contracts and identify potential commercial or funding risks.
  • Maintain accurate credit files, approvals and supporting documentation.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across credit, operations and client-facing teams.

About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who bring experience from an Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Collections, Finance or Banking environment and are looking to broaden their skillset.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections or a similar finance-related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidence working with Excel and reporting data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A genuine interest in finance, risk and commercial decision-making.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
