TwoScots Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading Australian retail business to recruit a Brand & Packaging Designer for their Melbourne head office.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established retail business where you'll take ownership of packaging design across a diverse portfolio of consumer products. Working closely with Product, Marketing and Ecommerce, you'll play a key role in bringing products to life through premium, commercially focused packaging that strengthens brand presence both in-store and online.
We're looking for a creative designer who loves packaging, understands retail, and enjoys taking concepts through to finished production artwork. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and have a passion for branding, typography and product presentation, this could be the perfect opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
-
Design and develop packaging across multiple product categories from concept through to production

Create artwork, dielines, mock-ups and print-ready files
-
Maintain brand consistency across packaging, labels, swing tags, POS and supporting collateral

Collaborate with Product, Marketing and Ecommerce teams on new product launches and seasonal campaigns
-
Ensure artwork is production-ready with exceptional attention to detail

Research packaging trends, materials and sustainability initiatives to bring fresh ideas to the business

Support broader brand design across print and physical marketing assets
What We're Looking For
-
5+ years' experience in Packaging Design, Brand Design or Graphic Design within retail, FMCG or product-based businesses

Strong portfolio showcasing packaging and brand identity work

Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)

Experience creating packaging from concept through to final production artwork

Strong understanding of print production processes and packaging materials

Excellent typography, layout and brand design skills
-
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Experience within homewares, lifestyle, fashion or consumer products will be highly regarded
