About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join the team on a 6 month FTC. This role will focus on payroll projects and payroll compliance activities, making it ideal for a payroll professional who enjoys problem solving and driving process improvements.
Working closely with key stakeholders, you will utilise your technical payroll expertise to support project outcomes while ensuring payroll accuracy and legislative compliance.
Duties:
- Manage payroll reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Support payroll projects and compliance initiatives
- Manage superannuation reconciliations and reporting requirements
- Analyse payroll data and identify areas for process improvement
- Assist with payroll audits and compliance reviews
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on payroll-related projects
- Provide technical payroll advice and support to the wider business
- Ensure payroll processes align with current legislation and best practice
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in a Senior Payroll Officer position
- Strong superannuation knowledge, including reconciliations and reporting
- Advanced reconciliation and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Experience working with large payroll environments will be highly regarded
