Customer Service Representative

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Melbourne's northern suburbs.

Working within a supportive and close-knit team, this is a varied customer service and administration role where you'll manage customer requirements from order through to delivery. You'll work closely with internal sales, production, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure customers receive a seamless and reliable service.

This would suit someone who enjoys a fast-paced, hands-on environment, is highly organised and takes pride in building strong relationships with customers.

The Role

Reporting into the wider customer service team, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing customer enquiries and providing regular updates throughout the order process
• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Coordinating artwork, proofs, job documentation and production requirements
• Liaising closely with production, warehouse and sales teams
• Monitoring work in progress, stock levels and customer forecasts
• Coordinating local and interstate freight and deliveries
• Managing customer delivery requirements and ensuring timelines are met
• Assisting with invoicing and customer reporting
• Maintaining accurate customer and order information
• Proactively resolving issues and keeping customers informed throughout the process

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience within customer service, order management or a similar administrative role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisation and time management
• The ability to confidently manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• The ability to remain calm and level-headed in a busy environment
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• A reliable, positive and team-focused attitude
• Experience within manufacturing, packaging, labels, print or FMCG would be highly regarded, but is not essential
