Accounts Officer
$75,000 - $80,000 + Super | Full-Time | On-Site Parking
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Officer to join a well-established and growing engineering business. Due to confidentiality requirements, the company name will be disclosed during the recruitment process.
This is a full-time, office-based position offering a modern and welcoming workplace along with on-site parking.
About the Role
Reporting into a supportive finance team, you'll play a key role across the day-to-day accounting function, with responsibilities including:
- Accounts Payable processing and supplier reconciliations
- Accounts Receivable, invoicing and collections
- Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry
- Assisting with month-end finance administration
- Supporting the wider finance function as required
- Payroll processing and related administration
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Officer, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or similar finance position
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Exposure to payroll would be beneficial
- Sound Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Systems Experience
The business operates on a bespoke internal system, therefore candidates with exposure to a variety of accounting or ERP systems will be highly regarded. While not essential, experience with Employment Hero Payroll would also be advantageous.
