About the Role
This role is well suited to an experienced Payroll Manager who is confident leading teams, highly detail-oriented, and brings a strong analytical and continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop members of the payroll team
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and ensure timely, accurate delivery
- Conduct regular audits and identify process improvement opportunities
- Ensure payroll governance, compliance, and controls are maintained
- Manage and support payroll-related projects as required
- Maintain high standards across payroll policies and procedures
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders across the business nationally
Skills & Experience
- Proven leadership experience managing a medium-sized payroll team
- Experience working in multi-site complex payroll environments
- Interpreting complex EBAs and Awards
- Demonstrated experience in payroll projects or system implementations (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset
