About the Role
This is a hands on Senior Payroll Officer position, suited to someone who thrives in high-volume, fast-paced environments. You will take ownership of end-to end payroll processing across multiple sites, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and meeting tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end processing of weekly payroll for approximately 1,000 employees
- Manage complex payroll operations across multi-sites nationally
- Process leave calculations, including long service, maternity and parental leave
- Understand and perform Super and Tax calculations
- Undertake terminations & redundancies
- Interpret complex EBA's and Awards correctly
- Communicate with various stakeholders across the organisation
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery in line with strict weekly deadlines
- Contribute to payroll reporting and month-end processes
About You
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing within a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of EBAs, awards, and multi state payroll compliance
- Confident working with manual payroll processes and complex calculations
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
