Payroll Officer | Multiple Opportunities
We're currently partnering with a range of organisations across Melbourne that are looking for experienced Payroll Officers to join their teams on temporary and contract assignments.

About the Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager or Payroll Team Leader, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing
- Processing new starters, terminations and employee variations
- Managing leave calculations including annual leave, personal leave and long service leave
- Interpreting Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and payroll legislation
- Responding to payroll enquiries and managing payroll inboxes
- Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring payroll compliance
- Providing excellent customer service to employees and internal stakeholders
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Experience working in medium to large payroll environments
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation
- Experience interpreting Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Exposure to large payroll systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
