Reporting to an experienced and approachable Payroll Manager, you will receive ongoing support while further developing your payroll expertise in a collaborative environment.

About the Role

• Process end-to-end payroll in accordance with relevant legislation, awards, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee information, leave balances, and payroll amendments.
• Ensure the timely and accurate processing of salaries, superannuation, and statutory obligations.
• Interpret and apply relevant awards, enterprise agreements, and payroll legislation.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations, reporting requirements, and audit activities.
• Provide prompt and professional support in responding to payroll-related enquiries from employees.

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience processing end-to-end payroll in a large complex environment.
• Experience working with large payroll systems.
• Sound knowledge of award interpretation and payroll compliance.
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, processes, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritise competing deadlines, work independently, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
