About the Company
We are partnering with a well-known retail organisation recognised for its inclusive, collaborative and dynamic culture. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join their team.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who has previously worked in a high-volume, end-to-end payroll environment and enjoys working in a fast-paced setting.
About the Role
Drawing on your payroll expertise, you will be responsible for:
- Processing multiple end-to-end payroll cycles accurately and on time
- Maintaining and updating employee records within payroll systems
- Ensuring payroll operations comply with all relevant legislation, taxation requirements and company policies
- Reviewing and improving payroll processes to increase efficiency while maintaining compliance
- Interpreting and applying payroll legislation while providing guidance to stakeholders
- Processing manual payroll calculations, including terminations, leave payments and pay adjustments
- Completing month-end payroll activities and reporting requirements
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years' experience in a similar payroll role
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Proven experience providing accurate and timely advice regarding payroll queries
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and continuous improvement
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
